Simpson Gardens is a joint ministry of The Garden Church and Simpson Senior Services. It was designed to provide affordable, quality, senior housing in a caring and active community.

The building offers residential space that fosters both independence and community. It is architecturally compatible with the historic district of Lansdowne and is near local businesses and public transportation. The building also features off-street parking and is handicap accessible/adaptable.

Each apartment has kitchen facilities and some have outside balconies. A sense of community is nurtured through the common areas that include the laundry, library, dining room, activity room and service pantry. The Garden Church runs a Gift Shop within Simpson Gardens that strengthens the sense of community. The residents are linked to the full care services of Simpson House, a continuing care retirement community.

A Resident Council oversees life at Simpson Gardens and provides activities that include Game Night, the Arts and Crafts Program, teas and chicken dinners.
